NOTE: this tool works best if you use default live weather. custom weather use might bring some innacurate/ or no data.
I dont know if this works with external weather engines.

HOW TO USE?
- To use: Plugins -> MetarXP -> Request current METAR to see current metar.
- Customize: Plugins -> MetarXP -> Settings to adjust the bar color, screen position, and display timer.
